Inspired by the artist Chiharu Shiota, I sought to create a network of tangled threads that represents a communication network, symbolic of how easily people can gossip through the phone regardless of distance and how quickly information transfers, with some remaining the same and others completely changing from one person to another. Words leave an imprint on our lives, and what's more terrifying is when those words are hurtful.
